Patient's Rights and Care Advocacy Cases:
- Ringo v. Hamilton - Four plaintiffs sue to enjoin the State of Indiana from changing its Medicaid "spend-down" policy in a way that would drastically curtail access to life-sustaining medical care.
- Lemons v. Westminster Village North, Inc. - Involving attempted involuntary, intra-facility transfer of 98 year-old nursing home resident from her room to another "Medicaid-certified" room.
- Schurbrock v. Intrepid Health Care Services - A federal district court judge orders a home health agency to follow doctor’s orders to deliver home health services to a 52 year-old man with multiple sclerosis.
